First licensed in 1971, Ron Largent has been an agent or broker in four (4) states over the years. He knows and understands all aspects of residential, commercial, and investment-income properties in the North State. Over the years he has achieved significant sales results in residential sales, Mobile Home Parks and apartment complex sales, along with self mini-storage complex and convenience store sales. He is the founder, partner-owner and former Team Leader of Keller Williams Realty in Redding. He partnered with his son, Curt, and other associates in the Largent Team, one of the largest real estate teams in the North State, which is now part of Sheldon Largent Realty.  During 2011, Ron served as President and Executive Officer of the United Way of Northern California on an interim basis, managing the United Way in the nine northern counties of California.

Prior to entering the real estate field, Ron graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara, then served for 5 years on active duty as an Air Force Officer, subsequently retiring  from the Reserve after serving for 28 years. He is still active in the Retired Officers Association and the Military Officers of America Association.

Ron Largent and US Representative Wally Herger are good friends and go back a number of years. Ron is frequently in contact with the Congressman on real estate and development matters in the North State, and talks to the Congressman about the role of small business in the North State economy, of which Ron is a big proponent.

In addition to his real estate activities, Ron Largent is a California certified real estate Mediator and is quite involved in various civic organizations, like the Redding Chamber of Commerce,  and non-profit groups. He is married and he and his wife, Audy, have four adult children and nine grandchildren. He is quite active in Christian groups in the area, including the Neighborhood Church, the Salvation Army , and the Good News Rescue Mission, and is an active member of the Straight Ahead Big Band and the Rapture Brass Ensemble. He has been an active member of the Shasta Association of Realtors and received the prestigious Presidents Award of outstanding service in 2007.
